The Imperial Faith is the state-sanctioned religion of the Comorathian Empire. Worship of other Powers is not outlawed, but it is heavily discouraged and a source of marginalisation. The Imperial Faith has its leadership present in the Imperial Court, and wield a considerable amount of political and economic influence within the Imperial Core. Although the leadership of the Faith lives in and operates out of Kaiserheath, Kirchweg is considered the be the heart of Imperial religious practice.
The Imperial Faith is also known as the Court. This is a carryover from an older term for Powers which had taken names, which were once broadly considered to be members of the Armistice Court - the immortal body responsible for assisting the mortal races of Corporea in resisting the Yuan-ti Majesty and their Serpent Gods.
The Imperial Deities[edit]
Most of the known named Powers of the the world are sanctioned as Gods of the Imperial Faith. Only one Innominate is given official godhood status within the Empire, but despite this it has not completely shaken off the suspicion and unease that is usually associated with people's reactions to the Innominate.
